YPC CRED Men / Youth

The Youth Peace Center (YPC) CRED Men/Youth program is dedicated to supporting young men at high risk of gun violence. Through a structured timeline of services, the program aims to build a robust support network, foster personal growth, and promote economic stability. Participants receive individualized attention from a team of outreach workers, life coaches, therapists, job coaches, and education tutors. The program emphasizes early engagement, consistent support, and skill development to help participants achieve self-determination, community connection, and gainful employment. By addressing both immediate and long-term needs, YPC CRED Men/Youth strives to create a safer and more empowered community.

Introducing Our Comprehensive Participant Support Network

Youth Peace Center of Roseland introduces a strong support network for participants early on, aiming to boost staff communication and align goals. Each Base Team, consisting of members from Outreach, Programming, and Education & Training (E&T), meets participants during outreach and convenes every six weeks. These teams, which include Outreach Workers, Life Coaches, Therapists, Job Coaches, and Education Tutors, collaborate to provide comprehensive support and make collective decisions on participant promotions.

Timeline of Services
