Youth Peace Ambassadors

YPC will target youth via digital, communication and print touchpoints. They will recruit and train youth ages 16-24 as Youth Peace Ambassadors. The mission is to develop and coordinate a community network of four agencies that will be subcontracted to provide positive enrichment activities that provide youth development around making healthy decisions about their character, safety and social engagement. Each agency will provide youth programming that concentrates on life skills, job readiness and conflict resolution, leadership and peace-building. Participants will create, produce and distribute a media project that encourages peace to youth across southside communities. They will also provide activities that allow youth to gain job readiness skills, job training, career exploration and communication skills.
